Schedule Control (Code : SC)
Job description:
Reviews schedules submitted by the contractor and recommends adjustment if necessary. Monitors actual accomplishment and compares them with the schedule. Anticipates potential problems encountered and discusses with the contractors, measures to solve and prevent them from recurring. Asseses regularly the sufficiency of the contractors on-site resources to support the project schedule. Assist the QC group prepare a submittal log to monitor status of submittals. Review request for time extension by the contractors and submits recommendations

Job description:
Prepare cost estimates based on final plans and specifications. Recommends contract packages regarding division of work to facilitate bidding & construction. Supervise the QS consultant to pre-qualify contractors & suppliers. Supervise the QS consultant in conducting pre-bid conferences and conducting actual biddings for all contract packages. Analyze bids & submit recommendations.  Facilitate the negotiation of final contract provisions & amount with the contractors. Facilitates the issuance of Notice Awards and Notice to Proceed. Check all application for payment to contractor & suppliers. Check and monitors all change orders for legitimacy & fairness

Inspects work in progress to make sure that plans & specification are followed. Witnesses testing of materials & equipment to ensure that plans & specification are followed. Monitors actual accomplishment & compares with the schedule. Checks all application for payment made by contractors & suppliers
