• Ensure agreed Statement of Need is completed for all development projects
• Delivery of consolidated technical innovation program
• Monthly reporting of all technical function performance in relation to objectives and KPIs
• Provide, assist and advice in resolving any quality issues related to formulation, process and applications in compliance to HSE requirements.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and HSE conformance are maintained.
• Guide QC in set-up and maintain quality documentation system for recording data for QC in accordance to ISO 9001 requirements. Set up statistical quality control for processes to monitor and make improvements to product and process quality.
• Plan, organize and manage technical daily activities in relation to product development, sale and production support. Provide training to staff to ensure work is carried out effectively.
• Conduct tests for raw materials, intermediates, finished goods and product development for new products inclusive of new colors and new raw materials approval for use in production inclusive of proper documentation and findings.
• Resolve quality issues arising from customer complaints when arise.
• Liaise with operations department in start up of new products and processes inclusive of QC on pilot production batch and inclusive of monitoring testing results on the production batch.
• Complete product verifications through both in-house testing and external certification and update product datasheet.
• Support sales in product application and tests when required.
• Responsible to provide the training and guidance to improve the skill of Lab Technician and junior staff.

• At least 8 years of experience within a related industry.
• Good interpersonal skills and an avid interest in development works.
• Experience is managing process and IT system processes.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
