Our client, a reputable oil & gas company, is seeking an experienced candidate to fill the following position
RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, 8-10 years experience in reservoir management operations, characterization and simulation activities in the oil industry
- Experience in Fractured Carbonate
EXPATRIATE RECRUITMENT OFFICER - Contract based in Asia Region
Skills and Experience Required:
- University degree;
- Minimum 3 years practical and professional experience in recruitment activities for expatriate personnel (Asian and Western);
- Understand on recruitment & selection processes and systems;
- Moderate level on Microsoft Office Skills;
- Experience in Mining or Heavy Industry;
- Supervisory experience preferred;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Highly self-motivated and interpersonal skills;
- Co-operative team player and ability to handle multi-task;
- Efficient and effective management of time;
- Good negotiation and strong interactive skills;
- Able to work well under pressure;
- Able to work long hours and long working roster;
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices; and
- Good communication in English.
- Report to the recruitment & development superintendent and human resources & administration manager to provide human resources support and services on a broad range of company HR activities on expatriate recruitment for the company;
- Undertake recruitment and selection activities for Western & Asian Expatriate employees and including bulk recruitment activities as well as supporting exploration and resource drilling activities in the region;
- Provide support and lead with recruitment activities for Asian, Far East & Western Expatriate recruitments;
- Maintain and provide guidance on Recruitment policies, procedures and forms;
- Manage relations with preferred supplier employment agencies, throughout South East Asia, Australia, Africa, Far East and Europe;
- Undertake continual development of recruitment processes and practices, including in-house recruitment methods i.e. advertising methods and managing a recruitment database;
- Produce contract letters and employee correspondence in a timely and accurate manner, and assist with coordinating the process for commencing employees;
- Assist with coordinating the relocation and settling-in of new employees and onboard new employee upon acceptance of the offering – transport (including B2 visa for expatriates), accommodation and induction booking
- Monitor HR transaction forms for Expatriates and ensure associated employee documentation is created, authorised, issued and filed/sent to Payroll staff
- Create new starter employees and ensure records of documentation are copied for records/update Payroll staff.
