Requirement :
- At Least 5 years Buying Experience in Manganese & Chromium Ore as well as Nickel.
- Grade 12 or above qualification
- Certificate or above in Purchasing Management
- Familiar with data searching and analysis
- Good communication skill with fluent spoken and good written English . Other languages will be an advantage
- Previous experience in procurement appointments with large producers will be highly regarded
- Technical competence and understanding of mining commodities
- Good at MS Word, Excel & Chinese word processing
- Responsible and self motivated is necessary
- Willing to travel if needed
Duties :
- Develop a sound base of Suppliers
- Product and service cost analysis
- Understanding supplier’s supply chain and being able to identify commercial areas for improvement
- Understanding Legal Terms and Conditions
- Determine and facilitate the successful implementation of commodity strategy
- Determine and Communicate commercial performance objectives and requirements of strategy with external and internal stakeholders’ to ensure requirement are met
- Manage supplier performance and relationships and develop suppliers
- Ensure adherence to contract terms and conditions and support in execution of duties and contract administration and management
- Continuous benchmarking of commodities and market trends pertaining to commodity
